A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hi, hello! My name is Alexandra Lloyd (preferrably Alex) and I live in the Adelaide Hills in Australia. Since I was a young girl only just in school, I had a love for reading. I would always be chosen to read aloud in class, despite the fact that I was five years old, and I loved dicovering all these new worlds that were so unlike the one I lived in. English is also a major subject that I admire and am talented at, but I'm just disappointed that I didn't discover my love for writing sooner. I knew that something in each of the books I read was different, or disappointing or not what I would have planned myself. So I had this wicked thought - only in grade 3 - that I could write my very own stories,
with my very own worlds, and I could end each one exactly how I wanted to. Since then, I have participated in many different competitions to test my skills and have adjusted to writing the many genres that I read. I haven't stopped writing since, and I'm so glad of this. I've put my names out to publishing houses already and am very excited to make a real career out of this in the future! This website is for you - as the reader - to be either inspired, encouraged or entertained with my works; I do hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them!

A lot of my works - or at least my favourites - I end up publishing online on a website called 'Wattpad'. It's a really clever, creative place for both writers and readers that want to get their stories out in a community of like-minded individuals, or for those who want to read exclusive books they won't find on the shelf in a bookstore. There are SO MANY different genres to choose from, with a variety of different authors that each have their own unique styles and imaginations. I personally LOVE Wattpad, and will always find myself going online to either read other people's books or to update a chapter of my own. My childhood best friend introduced it to me back in 2013, and I've been on ever since. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new to read or do; it's completely free to sign in and create an account, and definitely worth it!
